Our Holy Father Clement, Pope of Rome

Saints, Feasts, and Readings for 11/24/2022 Saints and Feasts: Our Holy Father Clement, Pope of Rome; Peter, Archbishop of Alexandria; Hermogenes, the Martyr; Afterfeast of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Temple; Philoumenos and Christopher the Martyrs Fast Day (Fish Allowed) Epistle Reading: Philippians 3:20-21;4:1-3 Brethren, our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself. Therefore, my brethren, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord. And I ask you also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. Gospel Reading: Luke 18:31-34 At that time, Jesus, taking his twelve disciples, said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written of the Son of man by the prophets will be accomplished. For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon; they will scourge him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise." But they understood none of these things; this saying was hid from them, and they did not grasp what was said.
