REV. FR. ATHANASIOS C. HAROS, PROTOPRESBYTER
Father Athanasios C Haros was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Denver, Colorado. He has a BA in Music from the University of Colorado College of Music and MDiv from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. Prior to attending Holy Cross he served as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries and Parish Administrator at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Denver. He served as Assistant Priest at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston, Massachusetts in 2007 prior to being assigned as Proistamenos at the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church in Florence, South Carolina. While in Florence he established “Be Transfigured Ministries,” an internet ministry which publishes, produces and promotes online Orthodox Christian ministries. Be Transfigured Ministries has a blog, audio podcast and YouTube Channel which promotes Bible Studies, a weekly sermon series and other special events in the life of the Orthodox Church. Father Athanasios is married to Presvytera Vassi, also a Holy Cross Graduate, who also maintains an internet ministry “In Service and Love.”

V. REV. FR. JAMES ROUSAKIS
Vicar for Western Florida
The V. Rev. Father James Rousakis has been a Greek Orthodox priest for 44 years. He is the Vicar for the Metropolis of Atlanta for Western Florida. He retired as Presiding Priest of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater in 2012, having served for 21 years; in November 2013, he was asked to serve as the Interim Dean of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Tarpon Springs, and continues in that capacity. He also served the parishes of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Atlanta, GA, Holy Trinity in Portland, ME and Holy Trinity in Indianapolis, IN. Fr James attended and graduated from Hellenic College with a BA in Greek studies, a M.Div. from Holy Cross Graduate School of Theology and an M.LibSc. from Simmons College. Married to the former Vasiliki Pliakas, they have two sons – the Rev. Fr. Soterios Rousakis and Leonidas Rousakis – and four grandchildren. Fr James is currently a member of the Archdiocese Council and Metropolis of Atlanta Council and was a member for 16 years of the Archdiocese Benefits Committee, serving as Chairperson for four years.

REV. FR. SAMPSON NEKTARIOS KASAPAKIS
Rev. Fr. Sampson Kasapakis was born in Chicago, Illinois and eventually moved to Sarasota, Florida. In 2011, he graduated from the University of Central Florida (Orlando) with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and minors in Chemistry, Biology and Leadership Achievement. This is also where he met Presvytera Mallory. He graduated from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and while he was there, he was the Director of the Sonia Belcher Hellenic College Holy Cross Ambassadors Program, in which carefully selected Holy Cross students travel around the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America offering youth retreats. After graduating from Holy Cross in 2014, he served as the Youth Director/ Pastoral Assistant at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL and at the same time he also worked at the Orthodox Christian Network as a Director of Fundraising. Most recently, on September 13th, 2015 he was ordained to the Holy Diaconate at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Sarasota, FL and on September 14th, 2015, on the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, he was ordained to the Holy Priesthood at our beloved St. Nicholas Cathedral.
